Mariah Carey and husband, Nick Cannon, have allegedly splashed out nearly $7 million for a home in the hills of Bel Air.

The 11,750 square foot mansion has 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and is located on a secluded private road with a gated drive and panoramic views of the city.

The sprawling home was once owned by former pin-up and original Charlie’s Angel, Farrah Fawcett, who sold it back in 1999 to a well known music producer. Listing information shows that in addition to all the bedrooms and bathrooms, the home has seven fireplaces, a 2-story center hall, including formal living and dining rooms, den, family room, lanai, library/study, media room, office, eat in kitchen, and a recording studio. The grounds include two motor courts, a huge rectangular swimming pool with a pool side pavilion, a large brick terrace with long views down the rugged canyon towards downtown Los Angeles, several flat lawn areas, a gazebo, and three gated entrances with a state of the art security system.

Mariah still owns a tlarge triplex apartment in the TriBeCa area of New York City and down in the Bahamas, she owns a multi-acre ocean front compound on guard gated Eleuthera Island.
