James Alan Hetfield is the rhythm guitarist, co-founder, main songwriter, and lead vocalist for the American heavy metal band “Metallica”.

Hetfield was ranked number 16 in Joel McIver’s book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists. Hetfield was also ranked twenty-fourth by Hit Parader on their list of the 100 Greatest Metal Vocalists of All Time. He purchased the 6-bed, 6.5-bath, 7,488 sq ft ocean front property home in July of 2000 for $4.45M, according to public records.
