NBC Universal Studios – Movie Studio Tour

Burbank, Filming Locations, Movie Studios

Universal Pictures, a subsidiary of NBC Universal, is one of the six major movie studios.  It is located in Burbank, CA and is the second-longest-lived Hollywood studio; Viacom-owned Paramount Pictures is the oldest by a month.

The legendary movie studio is responsible for such hits as Dracula (1931), Steven Spielberg’s Jaws (1975), E.T. (1982) and Jurassic Park (1993), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) and thousands of others. See full list of Universal Pictures films here.

Today, the movie studio is open to visitors for Studio Tours. Comedian Jimmy Fallon is the new video host of the tour. The star of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” introduces clips seen on HD monitors in the trams to augment the live Studio Tour guide narration.

Explore Hollywood’s most famous backlot in the world and visit sets used in hundreds of movies and TV shows, including The Blues Brothers, Austin Powers in Goldmember, Bruce Almighty, The Ghost Whisperer, Crossing Jordan and countless others. To buy tickets or find more info, visit the Universal Studios website.
