George Clooney has come along way from his TV days as Dr. Doug Ross on CBS’s “ER” in the early 1990’s. It was this role that lead to leading parts in 1997’s Batman and Robin, and Three Kings in 1999. But it was Ocean’s Eleven in 2001 that made George Clooney a star. Not to mention, garnering him a net worth of $180 million, to which he adds earnings of approximately $46 million each year. He owns Smoke House Pictures, a film and tv production company, and he screen writes and directs. His directorial debut was the 2002 Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, in which he also starred. George Clooney won an Academy Award for Best supporting Actor in 2005 for Syriana, and won again in 2013 in the production category for Argo. He has 6 nominations in 6 different categories, the only actor ever to achieve this feat. He also has 14 Golden Globe nominations and 5 wins. When George Clooney isn’t relaxing in his $2.2 million home in Studio City, LA, he may be at either his $10 million pound mansion in England or his 18th century home in Northern Italy called Villa Oleandra, or he could be vacationing in the French Riviera or Lake Como. George Clooney stays active by playing baseball and basketball. He loves riding one of his two motorcycles and has a 1858 Chevrolet Corvette V8 C1 convertible.
