Bio

Jay Leno is a stand-up comedian who first appeared on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in 1977. This started his rise to his present day net worth of $350 million. When Johnny Carson retired in 1992, Jay Leno was his replacement. Quite the accomplishment and, it is this along with his production company, Big Dog Productions, that contribute to his net worth. Living in a relatively modest home, for Beverly Hills, Jay Leno is known for his main passion of collecting antique cars and motorcycles. He makes cameo appearances in movies and TV shows, is still active on the stand-up comedy circuit and writes books, most notably “How To Be The Funniest Kid In The Whole Wide World.” Jay Leno has numerous Emmy nominations, a 2006 People’s Choice Award and a Star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was also honored by the Writers Guild of America for “Jay Leno’s Family Comedy Hour” and the Washingtonian honored him with the Best Political Humorist Award. Jay Leno does not vacation because he likes to work too much. However, you may see him driving around LA in his Jaguar CX75.
