Oscar winning actress Halle Berry listed her 2 bed, 2 bath luxury home in Beverly Hills on the market for $5 million.
The Hollywood a-lister, who was recently ordered to pay ex-husband Gabriel Aubry $20,000 a month in child support, has decided to part with her Beverly Hills hideaway. But although her Doheny Drive mini-mansion only has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and may hardly seem like a celebrity home to some, it has more than doubled in price from the $2.275 million she paid for it in 2001. And despite the rather tight space, it appears that the reclusiveness and the vibe of the property is what gives it it’s allure and it’s price tag.
Situated on 1.3 acres just above Sunset Blvd in Beverly Hills, the house is a majestic Old Word Mediterranean. According to the original real estate listing, some of it’s features include “magnificent gardens, fountains, al fresco dining & seating areas, a fire pit and a sumptuous stone spa”. Wow. It truly sounds magnificent, and its quaint size coupled with its sprawling yards and gardens make for a great hide-away from the busy celebrity lifestyle. It has a rustic feel, and looks more like an exotic vacation property, then a celebrity home in Beverly Hills.
