The chart is that of Albert Camus (1913–1960): born 7 November 1913 at 02:00 in Mondovi (now Dréan), Algeria, a birth time taken from the birth record (Rodden rating AA). We use a public chart so that you can check it against the chart itself; Albert Camus had no connection with StarMap. A reading speaks to whoever has the chart, which is why it says “your”.

Questions people ask before paying
- What happens after I pay?
- Stripe takes the payment and brings you back to StarMap with Plus switched on. If the email address you gave is new to us, you arrive signed in. If it already has an account, Plus is added to that account and you sign in as usual. Either way we email you a button that opens your account on any device. If your chart is not saved yet, drawing it takes a minute and is the first thing we ask.
- Do I need an account first?
- No. Pay first. The email address you give at checkout becomes your account, and we send your sign-in link to it. There is no password.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, at any time, from Manage billing on your account page. You do not have to write to anyone. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Is my birth time needed?
- No. The daily reading and the calendar are built from where the planets were on the day you were born. A birth time adds your rising sign and your houses, which tell a reading which part of life it touches, and it is needed for the birth sky map.
- What if I do not know my birth time?
- Tick the box that says your birth time is unknown when you draw your chart. StarMap then leaves out the rising sign and the houses rather than guess at them. Many birth certificates record the time, and so do baby books and parents.
- Is this a prediction?
- No. StarMap is for entertainment and self-reflection. A reading describes the sky and what astrologers associate with it. It does not predict events, and it says nothing about health, money or legal matters.
