When we think of Royalty of course the UK’s stylish Kate and William come to mind but when putting royalty in American terms the requirements are not by birth but by hard work and dedication. That is the exact sentiment that comes to mind when thinking about American Royalty, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady. And their couture home leaves you positively breathless with simplicity and beauty like the couple.

We all know Gisele Bundchen as the SEXY Brazilian siren who won our envious hearts strutting down the Victoria’s Secret runways in next to nothing showing off her hot to trot body and way too pretty face. When she hooked up with All-American stud, Tom Brady, we knew that the sparks would fly and fly they did in this whirlwind romance that the world watched. They had both dated LOTS of other people and when they both settled down it was a surprise to just about all of us.

However, the home that they decided to build together is just as beautiful and simple as the two of them. The couple danced all around the world making waves but decided to settle on a piece of undeveloped property in Southern California and built it step by step together choosing everything from the window coverings to the chandeliers themselves…oh and with the help of Joan Behnke who handled the interior design and Richard Landry who was the lead architect on their home.
Of course a Football player from Northern California and a Supermodel from Brazil would want a French Chateau, and that is precisely what their designers gave them…in southern California.
This 14,000 square foot home sits on a generous patch of land with very few neighbors to insure privacy. This compound even has a moat.
Together the couple have two children: Benjamin and Vivian Lake. Oh and did you know that Tom Brady had another son??…a six year old named John, the mother is an actress named Bridget Moynahan…and YES she is 43 years old. A cougar to Tom Brady’s youthful 36. The quick and dirty is that John’s full name is: John Edward Thomas Moynahan. Hmm…I guess not Brady.
Gisele in the Micro Garden
It was very important to both Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady that their children know the importance of where their food comes from and to understand healthy living. The home boasts not only a micro garden but also a chicken coop where eggs are brought into the home daily to support their eco first lifestyle.
While the couple are definitely eco friendly that does not leave the idea of quality and style out of their home.

This kitchen was carefully designed boasting Antique Tunisian tile and marble countertops. While the Bundchen-Brady clan do have help to maintain their lifestyles Gisele does a lot of the cooking and home care for her family herself. Both Bundchen and Brady have strong family foundations neither of them desired to have servants running their sanctuary.
