The Biggest Celebrity Weight Loss Endorsement Deals

August 5, 2014

Losing weight isn’t easy. But we have a feeling that it might be a bit easier if you got $1,000 per treadmill session or an extra $500 to resist the temptation to eat that slice of cake. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? Well, such is life for celebs, who can score lucrative endorsement deals with weight-loss products and services in exchange for dropping extra weight. Some celebs actually even pack on the pounds just so they can rake in the cash while shedding them. Here’s a list of some of the most prominent (and best paying) celebrity weight loss endorsement deals.

1. Jessica Simpson, Weight Watchers, $3 million

Jessica Simpson literally ate her way through her first pregnancy, reportedly ballooning to well over 180 pounds while pregnant with daughter Maxwell in 2011. But after giving birth, Simpson managed to turn her baby weight into a lump of cash. She signed on with Weight Watchers for a staggering $3 million. But of course there was a catch: She would only be awarded the cash if she could shed 50 pounds in five months. In spite of rumors that Simpson found the program to be ineffective and difficult, she did manage to reach her goal weight. She signed onto the program yet again in 2013 after giving birth to her second child, Ace, scoring yet another endorsement deal (this time worth $4 million).
