Richard Dean Anderson’s home, where the former “MacGyver” star lives with his 10-year-old daughter in a house partly reflecting how the Minneapolis native always “swooned at the sight of the classic barn structure in central and northern Minnesota.”
It’s a neat-looking, rustic combo of his Midwest nostalgia, the reality of a beach lifestyle and, presumably, “MacGyver” residuals.”
Anderson played the eponymous hero in the television series “MacGyver” and, more recently, Jack O’Neill in “Stargate SG-1″. He purchased the original 4-beds, 4-bath, 3,835 sq ft home in 1987 for $1.06 Million. That home has been torn down to make way for the new construction you can see in the Satellite Map. He also owns anther property in Malibu and a condo in Laguna Woods (CA).
