Aleksandr Dugin’s birth chart

With the Sun in Capricorn, Aleksandr Dugin is likely to find purpose in building a reputation and a structure that will outlast them, with a vitality that is steady rather than showy. The trap can be measuring their worth by output alone. They may well work through tiredness instead of naming it, until someone else has to point it out.

Born before about 15:00: Moon in Capricorn

With the Moon in Capricorn, Aleksandr's comfort probably comes from accomplishing something concrete each day, and an unproductive day can leave them oddly unsettled even on holiday. Harder feelings tend to be kept for when they are alone. Before rest is allowed there is usually one more thing to tidy, organise or finish.

Born after about 15:00: Moon in Aquarius

An Aquarius Moon processes daily feelings by stepping back and thinking them through rather than sitting inside them, and Aleksandr is likely to need a degree of independence built into any close relationship. The temptation is to analyse a feeling instead of simply having it. Even after a good day with people, this Moon needs time alone to recover.

Born before about 18:10: Mercury in Capricorn

Mercury in Capricorn thinks methodically, and Aleksandr tends to communicate in a measured, practical way that people trust. The focus on a useful conclusion can be so strong that ideas which have not yet proven their worth are dismissed. Aleksandr will often get straight to the point in a conversation other people expected to be casual.

Born after about 18:10: Mercury in Aquarius

In Aleksandr's chart, Mercury in Aquarius describes thinking that is original and a step removed from convention, and communication that works best through ideas rather than small talk. The stubborn streak is holding a position out of principle after the evidence has moved on. In a group, this is the person who asks the question nobody else thought to ask.

For Aleksandr, Venus in Capricorn means loving in a measured, committed way and valuing stability, ambition and someone to build a life with. The trap is treating a relationship like a project to manage rather than let unfold. With this Venus, love comes out more easily as providing and planning than as words said out loud.

Mars in Capricorn acts with discipline and patience, playing a longer game than most, and in Aleksandr's case its anger tends to be controlled, arriving as coldness rather than heat. The tendency is to go quiet and distant instead of saying what is wrong. A frustration is something to outwork rather than voice.

Jupiter in Aquarius grows through community, ideas and causes bigger than one life. Aleksandr may put so much trust in a theory or a group that its practical flaws are overlooked. Optimism about the future can make them a natural organiser of other people's efforts.

With Saturn in Aquarius, Aleksandr's discipline probably gathers around belonging to a group on their own terms; it is the placement of the one-time outsider. The doubt means holding back the stranger ideas until there is no risk of mockery. The outsider often ends up as a trusted voice in exactly the kind of community that once seemed unlikely to accept them.

Uranus takes about seven years to cross a sign, so in Aleksandr's chart Uranus in Virgo describes an age group as much as a single person. It is a generation that changes how work and daily routine are done, through new methods and new technology. In one person it can be an instinct to question inherited routines.

Neptune in Scorpio marks a long season that Aleksandr shares with many people of a similar age. Its imagination is drawn to the hidden, the taboo and the transformative, with a wider cultural fascination for secrets and endings. In an individual that can be a pull towards mystery for its own sake.

Pluto in Virgo is shared by Aleksandr and many people born in the same span of years. That generation lives through deep change in work, in how services are organised, and in daily life itself. In one person that can be intensity around control, order and how much any one system can carry.
