Axel Witsel’s birth chart

With the Sun in Capricorn, Axel Witsel is likely to find purpose in building a reputation and a structure that will outlast them, with a vitality that is steady rather than showy. The trap can be measuring their worth by output alone. They may well work through tiredness instead of naming it, until someone else has to point it out.

Born before about 21:35: Moon in Pisces

The Moon in Pisces makes for a porous daily mood, one that picks up the emotional temperature of a room without choosing to. Quiet, music or time near water probably restores Axel more than talking things out. It can be easy for them to miss how much of what they feel belongs to someone else.

Born after about 21:35: Moon in Aries

The Moon in Aries keeps day-to-day needs simple: something to do right now, and permission to feel it and move on. For Axel, comfort probably comes from action rather than discussion. The instinct of this Moon is to pace the room or go for a walk rather than sit with a feeling until it passes on its own.

In Axel's chart, Mercury in Aquarius describes thinking that is original and a step removed from convention, and communication that works best through ideas rather than small talk. The stubborn streak is holding a position out of principle after the evidence has moved on. In a group, this is the person who asks the question nobody else thought to ask.

For Axel, Venus in Capricorn means loving in a measured, committed way and valuing stability, ambition and someone to build a life with. The trap is treating a relationship like a project to manage rather than let unfold. With this Venus, love comes out more easily as providing and planning than as words said out loud.

For Axel, Mars in Aries points to acting immediately and decisively, with anger that tends to flare fast, hot and honest before it clears. The downside is acting before a situation has been thought all the way through. The argument or the project tends to start the second the impulse arrives, with little patience for waiting.

In Axel's chart, Jupiter in Taurus grows through patience, and what it builds tends to come together slowly and steadily rather than in one leap. Taken too far, that can become excess: holding on to more comfort or more stuff than serves them. They are probably generous with food, gifts and shared pleasures, and now and then generosity tips into indulgence.

Saturn is at home in Capricorn, a placement that builds discipline as naturally as breathing and often takes on responsibility earlier than most. The doubt, for Axel, may be never quite believing that enough has been achieved to relax. Others tend to recognise this kind of authority well before it is claimed.

Many people within a few years of Axel's age share Uranus in Capricorn, the mark of a generation that dismantles and rebuilds old institutions and structures of authority. Personally, that can mean scepticism towards any system that asks for trust without having shown why it deserves it.

Neptune in Capricorn is shared by Axel and about fourteen years of births. The imagination of the generation questions or idealises authority and ambition, often shaped by wide disillusionment with institutions. The personal version may be an uneasy relationship with conventional success.

Pluto is at home in Scorpio, and the generation born with it lives through profound upheavals in power, secrecy and shared taboos. Axel's own share may be an unusually deep comfort with intensity that others would find overwhelming.
