Neven Subotić’s birth chart

Growth, travel and ideas bigger than daily life are where Neven Subotić's Sagittarius Sun finds purpose, and their energy tends to lift the moment there is somewhere new to go. Familiarity is what wears on this placement. A few months into any routine, however good it is, restlessness usually sets in.

Born before about 05:05: Moon in Sagittarius

The Moon in Sagittarius needs room to move and a bit of novelty in its routine to feel right. A schedule with no give in it can make Neven edgy faster than most people expect. With this Moon, the next trip tends to be planned before the current one has finished.

Born after about 05:05: Moon in Capricorn

With the Moon in Capricorn, Neven's comfort probably comes from accomplishing something concrete each day, and an unproductive day can leave them oddly unsettled even on holiday. Harder feelings tend to be kept for when they are alone. Before rest is allowed there is usually one more thing to tidy, organise or finish.

Neven's Mercury in Sagittarius thinks in big, connective leaps and communicates with enthusiasm and a wide frame of reference drawn from everywhere they have been. The weak point is generalising past what the details support. A specific question may get a sweeping theory nobody quite asked for.

Venus in Scorpio loves intensely and privately, and Neven is likely to value depth and total honesty over ease. Testing loyalty can create the very distance this placement fears most. There is an all-or-nothing quality to how this Venus commits, with little interest in anything in between.

For Neven, Mars in Aries points to acting immediately and decisively, with anger that tends to flare fast, hot and honest before it clears. The downside is acting before a situation has been thought all the way through. The argument or the project tends to start the second the impulse arrives, with little patience for waiting.

In Neven's chart, Jupiter in Taurus grows through patience, and what it builds tends to come together slowly and steadily rather than in one leap. Taken too far, that can become excess: holding on to more comfort or more stuff than serves them. They are probably generous with food, gifts and shared pleasures, and now and then generosity tips into indulgence.

Saturn is at home in Capricorn, a placement that builds discipline as naturally as breathing and often takes on responsibility earlier than most. The doubt, for Neven, may be never quite believing that enough has been achieved to relax. Others tend to recognise this kind of authority well before it is claimed.

Many people within a few years of Neven's age share Uranus in Capricorn, the mark of a generation that dismantles and rebuilds old institutions and structures of authority. Personally, that can mean scepticism towards any system that asks for trust without having shown why it deserves it.

Neptune in Capricorn is shared by Neven and about fourteen years of births. The imagination of the generation questions or idealises authority and ambition, often shaped by wide disillusionment with institutions. The personal version may be an uneasy relationship with conventional success.

Pluto is at home in Scorpio, and the generation born with it lives through profound upheavals in power, secrecy and shared taboos. Neven's own share may be an unusually deep comfort with intensity that others would find overwhelming.
