Owning a house on the Carbon beach, also known as the Billionaire’s Beach, is no small deal. It is said that anybody who is a somebody has a home here, a home directly facing 80 ft of oceanfront and situated amidst all kinds of natural sceneries.
The Arquette couple owned one of these luxury mansions in Malibu, on the Carbon beach, but have recently sold their home to the owner of Los Angeles Dodgers, Frank McCourt and his wife Jamie. The couple bought another, pricier property in a near by waterfront area. This particular beach house is equipped with 4 rooms, 5 bath rooms, and multiple fireplaces.
Cox and Arquette bought the Malibu home in 2001 for an estimated amount of 10 million USD. It’s listing price was set at an astounding $33.5 million USD, though the sources refuse to disclose the real sale price. McCourts are a big name in the country, especially after they acquired the ownership of Los Angeles Dodgers, the state’s premier baseball team. Frank McCourt paid a whooping sum of $430 million to Rupert Murdoch to finalize the team transfer. So now you know that it is not for nothing that the beach is known as The Billionaire’s Beach with million dollar homes.
