Lila Tretikov’s birth chart

Lila Tretikov's purpose, with the Sun in Aquarius, probably lies in being useful to a group or an idea bigger than themselves, with a vitality that rises around causes and communities. The tension can be detaching from their own needs while championing everyone else's. It is the placement of the reliable one at meetings who is the hardest person to reach one to one.

A Leo Moon needs warmth and acknowledgement worked into everyday life, not just on big occasions. A day with no one noticing can drain Lila faster than a hard day with an audience. The mood tends to lift visibly the moment someone compliments something small Lila did.

Mercury in Capricorn thinks methodically, and Lila tends to communicate in a measured, practical way that people trust. The focus on a useful conclusion can be so strong that ideas which have not yet proven their worth are dismissed. Lila will often get straight to the point in a conversation other people expected to be casual.

Venus in Aquarius loves as a friend first, and values independence, shared ideas and a partner who allows plenty of room. Lila may keep just enough distance that closeness feels slightly out of reach, even to them. This Venus can prize a partner's individuality more than the intimacy between them.

Mars in Leo acts with confidence and wants the effort to be visible, and for Lila its anger is likely to flare when pride or loyalty is challenged. The tension is turning a disagreement into a matter of ego. Criticism of the work can feel personal to a Leo Mars, even when it was not meant that way.

Jupiter in Gemini grows through learning and exposure to as many ideas as can be gathered, and its optimism is contagious in conversation. Lila may overreach by knowing a little about everything and claiming more certainty than the depth supports. This is someone who can be the best-read person in the room on subjects they have never studied closely.

Saturn in Leo builds discipline around self-expression, and in Lila's chart this placement often starts with a fear of being laughed at or overlooked. The doubt tends to show as playing down achievements before anyone else can. The confidence this placement builds is hard-won and unshowy, and it tends to arrive once the waiting for permission stops.

Much of Lila's age group has Uranus in Scorpio. It changes attitudes to power, secrecy and what is held in common, often while living through upheavals in institutions once considered permanent. In an individual it tends to be a low tolerance for hidden agendas.

Neptune in Sagittarius is the dream of a generation: grand systems of belief and utopian journeys. What belongs to Lila in it may be a hopeful conviction that the right philosophy will resolve a practical problem.

Pluto in Libra is the signature of the generation Lila belongs to, because Pluto moves so slowly. That generation transforms ideas of partnership, fairness and what people owe one another. Personally it can be an intense need for relationships to be fundamentally fair.
