Shavo Odadjian’s birth chart

A Taurus Sun finds purpose in building something that lasts, and Shavo Odadjian's vitality probably runs slow and steady rather than in bursts. The drawback is a reluctance to change course even when the plan is clearly not working. People with this Sun can stay in one job or one home long after part of them knows it is time to move.

Born before about 10:55: Moon in Aries

The Moon in Aries keeps day-to-day needs simple: something to do right now, and permission to feel it and move on. For Shavo, comfort probably comes from action rather than discussion. The instinct of this Moon is to pace the room or go for a walk rather than sit with a feeling until it passes on its own.

Born after about 10:55: Moon in Taurus

A Taurus Moon needs routine, familiar food and physical comfort to feel steady from day to day. A sudden change of schedule probably unsettles Shavo more than they let on. A good bed, a favourite mug or the same coffee order can turn an unsteady morning around.

Mercury in Aries suggests that Shavo thinks in quick, decisive strokes and says what they mean without much preamble. Sometimes the words arrive before the thought is fully formed, which can come across sharper than intended. It is a mind that finishes other people's sentences and prefers a fast decision to a long meeting.

Venus in Pisces loves without much guard, and Shavo probably values emotional and even spiritual connection over anything practical. The temptation can be to idealise a partner before really seeing them. Generosity in relationships comes easily here, and so does missing the moment when giving starts to outweigh getting.

Mars in Cancer acts to protect the people and things that matter, and its anger is usually about feeling hurt more than feeling wronged. The habit to watch, for Shavo, may be going quiet or indirect instead of naming the upset. Other people tend to notice a shift of mood and take a while to trace it back to its cause.

For Shavo, Jupiter in Pisces means finding growth in compassion, imagination and a willingness to trust things that cannot be fully explained. The overreach is an idealism about people or situations that the facts do not quite support. Others lean on this generosity of spirit more than they let on.

Emotional security is where Shavo's Saturn in Cancer builds discipline; it is a placement often associated with learning early to be the steady one. Asking for care tends to be difficult with this Saturn, even when care is clearly needed. Over time, people with this placement often become the dependable anchor for others, including some who never quite return the favour.

Shavo holds Uranus in Libra in common with many people born in the same stretch of years. Together that generation reshapes ideas of partnership, fairness and how relationships are arranged. Its personal side is a readiness to question traditional roles more openly than earlier generations felt able to.

Neptune in Sagittarius is the dream of a generation: grand systems of belief and utopian journeys. What belongs to Shavo in it may be a hopeful conviction that the right philosophy will resolve a practical problem.

Pluto in Libra is the signature of the generation Shavo belongs to, because Pluto moves so slowly. That generation transforms ideas of partnership, fairness and what people owe one another. Personally it can be an intense need for relationships to be fundamentally fair.
