Summer Glau’s birth chart

Purpose for Summer Glau is probably tied to creating and being seen doing it, and a Leo Sun's vitality rises the moment there is an audience, even an audience of one. The tension is losing steam when no one is watching. The giveaway is often the extra effort that goes into something the moment someone notices them making it.

Born before about 02:20: Moon in Aries

The Moon in Aries keeps day-to-day needs simple: something to do right now, and permission to feel it and move on. For Summer, comfort probably comes from action rather than discussion. The instinct of this Moon is to pace the room or go for a walk rather than sit with a feeling until it passes on its own.

Born after about 02:20: Moon in Taurus

A Taurus Moon needs routine, familiar food and physical comfort to feel steady from day to day. A sudden change of schedule probably unsettles Summer more than they let on. A good bed, a favourite mug or the same coffee order can turn an unsteady morning around.

Mercury in Cancer thinks in terms of memory and feeling as much as logic, and Summer probably communicates best when there is emotional trust in the room. Mood can colour how a fact gets delivered or received. Years after the details have faded, this is a mind that remembers exactly how a conversation felt.

Born before about 09:05: Venus in Leo

Venus in Leo loves generously and openly, and values being someone's clear favourite above almost anything else on offer. For Summer, the tension this suggests is needing steady reassurance of still being adored. Their gestures tend to be grand and thoughtful, and it can sting when those go unnoticed.

Born after about 09:05: Venus in Virgo

With Venus in Virgo, Summer is likely to love through small, practical acts of service and to value competence and reliability in a partner. People with this Venus tend to be hardest on those they love most, and can mistake giving notes for giving care. They may try to fix a partner's problem before simply listening to it.

Mars in Cancer acts to protect the people and things that matter, and its anger is usually about feeling hurt more than feeling wronged. The habit to watch, for Summer, may be going quiet or indirect instead of naming the upset. Other people tend to notice a shift of mood and take a while to trace it back to its cause.

In Summer's chart, Jupiter in Libra suggests growth through partnership and a gift for bringing people together. Excess here looks like pleasing people so broadly that every expectation becomes a commitment. Someone with this Jupiter is often the connector whose introductions and events other people benefit from more than they realise.

For Summer, Saturn in Libra means discipline built around relationships, and fairness and commitment are trusted slowly. The doubt is overthinking whether a partnership is truly equal. With time, people with this Saturn tend to become the ones others rely on to negotiate and to keep things fair.

Much of Summer's age group has Uranus in Scorpio. It changes attitudes to power, secrecy and what is held in common, often while living through upheavals in institutions once considered permanent. In an individual it tends to be a low tolerance for hidden agendas.

Neptune in Sagittarius is the dream of a generation: grand systems of belief and utopian journeys. What belongs to Summer in it may be a hopeful conviction that the right philosophy will resolve a practical problem.

Pluto in Libra is the signature of the generation Summer belongs to, because Pluto moves so slowly. That generation transforms ideas of partnership, fairness and what people owe one another. Personally it can be an intense need for relationships to be fundamentally fair.
