It seems that Robin Thicke is making some major adjustments in his life with the recent split from wife, Paula Patton. As they move forward in completely different directions, they’ve wasted no time in putting their Hollywood Hills home on the market. It is currently listed for $3 Million and surely the couple is hoping that is moves off the market faster than Robins’ latest album has from the shelves.
A Gift of Love
The Birds Street home was originally constructed in 1965 and purchased by Alan Thicke, Robin’s father in 1990. During the time that Robin and Paula first joined in matrimony, around 1995, Allan passed the home down to Robin and his wife. Pretty elaborate wedding gift, don’t you think?
Birds Eye View
The house is layered with three bedrooms, one of which Thicke used as a recording studio. There are also three and a half baths that are contemporarily designed with all modern day and jazzy fixtures. The windows in the home lead the imagination to endless places as they run from floor-to-ceiling in the atrium with vivid views of the canyon, downtown LA and everything in between. The older construction of the home gives it a bit of a plain and settled presentation but the layout of the floor plan makes it a designers dream.
The home is nicely nestled among a few famous names in Hollywood. Neighboring properties are occupied by the likes of Jennifer Aniston, RuPaul Charles, Harry Morton Jr. and Michael Buble. The settled nature of the home and its well-endowed surroundings make it a positive mark for a quick move off the market. Many celebrities seek homes in areas that have an established natural surrounding such as this Birds Street property, and though it’s not the most elaborate, it’s very charming and fully accommodating for individuals, couples or families.
