Sagittarius Sun · Capricorn Moon · Sagittarius rising · Fire · Mutable

Sun

♐︎Sagittarius

25° Sagittarius 51'

You seek. Meaning, distance and the bigger picture pull you forward, and your honesty is a kind of generosity. The lesson of a Sagittarius Sun is that the journey also needs somewhere to land.

Moon

♑︎Capricorn

22° Capricorn 49'

You feel responsibly. You hold yourself together for other people and can be hard on yourself when you cannot. You are restored by accomplishment, by structure, and by the rare person you let see you tired.

Rising

♐︎Sagittarius

11° Sagittarius 53'

You come across as open, frank and optimistic. People feel that anything might happen when you are around, and you say the thing everyone was thinking.

How to read this chartTwo minutes, no jargon

1 · The wheel is the sky

Imagine standing at the birthplace at the moment of birth and looking up. The wheel is the whole circle of the sky around you, flattened. The ring of three-letter names is the zodiac: twelve equal slices of that circle, the same twelve for everyone, named Aries to Pisces.

2 · The symbols are the planets

Each symbol on the track marks where a planet was in the sky at that moment. The small number beside it is the exact degree inside its sign. The two that matter most are the Sun and the Moon ☽, which is why they glow.

  • ☉︎Sun in Sagittarius: your core self and what you are here to do.
  • ☽︎Moon in Capricorn: your feelings, needs and habits.
  • ☿︎Mercury in Capricorn: how you think and talk.
  • ♀︎Venus in Capricorn: how you love and what you enjoy.
  • ♂︎Mars in Capricorn: your drive, energy and temper.
  • ♃︎Jupiter in Aries: where you grow and get lucky.
  • ♄︎Saturn in Aquarius: where you work hard and doubt yourself.
  • ♅︎Uranus in Virgo: where you break the rules.
  • ♆︎Neptune in Scorpio: where you dream and blur.
  • ♇︎Pluto in Virgo: where you transform.
  • ☊︎North Node in Cancer: the direction you are growing in.

3 · The lines are conversations

A line joins two planets that sit at a meaningful angle to each other, which astrologers call an aspect. That is the whole idea: those two parts of Brad's personality are in conversation.

  • Gold: the two planets are together (a conjunction). Their meanings fuse.
  • Blue: they work together easily (trine, sextile). Talents that come naturally.
  • Rose: they pull against each other (square, opposition). Friction, and where growth happens.

Brad's chart has 14 of these: 5 gold, 6 blue, 3 rose. Thicker lines are more exact and matter more. The tightest is Mars trine Uranus; start there.

4 · The numbers are houses

Because the birth time is known, the wheel is turned so the eastern horizon (AC) is on the left. The twelve numbered slices are houses, the areas of life: 1 is self, 4 home, 7 partnership, 10 career. A planet in a house says where that energy shows up.

Brad Pitt's full reading

Each planet by sign and house. First-draft readings in the StarMap voice, reviewed by our consulting astrologer before launch.

  1. ☉︎Sun in Sagittarius

    ♐︎ 25° Sagittarius 51' · first house

    purpose and vitality

Purpose for they i tied to growth, travel and ideas bigger than their daily life, and their energy lifts the moment there is somewhere new to go. The tension is losing interest once a thing becomes familiar. It shows up as the restlessness that sets in a few months into any routine, however good it is.

Their identity takes center stage here, and being seen matters more to they than most people realize, even if they rarely say so out loud. They tend to lead with their personality first in a new setting and let people catch up to the rest of they later.

  2. ☽︎Moon in Capricorn

    ♑︎ 22° Capricorn 49' · second house

    needs and habits

Their comfort comes from accomplishing something concrete each day, and an unproductive day can leave they oddly unsettled even on holiday. They keep their harder feelings for when Brad is alone. It shows up as tidying, organising or finishing one more task before they allow themselves to rest.

They feel secure through steady resources and a clear, settled sense of their own values, not through sudden windfalls or big risky moves. When their finances or their sense of what matters feels shaky, their whole mood tends to follow right along with it.

  3. ☿︎Mercury in Capricorn

    ♑︎ 16° Capricorn 06' · second house

    mind and voice

They think methodically and communicate in a measured, practical way that people tend to trust. The tension is being so focused on the useful conclusion that they dismis ideas that have not yet proven their worth. It shows up as getting straight to the point in a conversation that other people expected to be casual.

They think carefully about what things are actually worth, and they tend to have clear, well-reasoned opinions about money and value that they can explain in detail. Talking a purchase or a plan through out loud genuinely helps they settle on the right one.

  4. ♀︎Venus in Capricorn

    ♑︎ 23° Capricorn 28' · second house

    love and values

They love in a measured, committed way and value stability, ambition and someone they can build a life with. The tension is treating a relationship like a project to manage rather than let unfold. It shows up as showing love through providing and planning more easily than through saying it out loud.

They have a genuine eye for quality and comfort, and surrounding themselves with things they find beautiful matters to they more than most people would guess. Their values lean toward pleasure, ease and things made well, over things that are merely practical or cheap.

  5. ♂︎Mars in Capricorn

    ♑︎ 10° Capricorn 01' · first house

    drive and anger

They act with discipline and patience, playing a longer game than most people around they, and their anger is controlled, arriving as coldness rather than heat. The tension is going quiet and distant instead of saying what is actually wrong. It shows up as outworking a frustration rather than voicing it.

They act first and think later, and their energy is direct, physical and genuinely hard to miss when they walk into a room. People experience they a someone who moves the moment a decision is made, rarely someone who lingers on it for long.

  6. ♃︎Jupiter in Aries

    ♈︎ 9° Aries 49' · fourth house

    growth and excess

They grow through bold, direct action and taking the first step before they feel fully ready. The overreach is starting more than they can realistically finish. It shows up as a burst of confidence that gets a new venture off the ground, whether or not the groundwork is fully in place.

Their home life tends to expand steadily over the years, whether through a growing family, more space or simply the warmth people feel there when they visit. A generous, welcoming household matters to they more than a tidy or impressive-looking one ever could.

  7. ♄︎Saturn in Aquarius

    ♒︎ 19° Aquarius 08' · second house

    discipline and doubt

They build discipline around belonging to a group on their own terms, often after early experiences of feeling like an outsider. The doubt shows up as holding back their stranger ideas until Brad is sure they will not be mocked. It shows up as becoming, eventually, a trusted voice in exactly the kind of community they once worried would not accept they.

They take a serious, disciplined approach to money and values, sometimes worrying more about them than the actual situation strictly calls for. Financial security, for they, tends to come through steady, patient effort over years rather than through any single lucky break.

  8. ♅︎Uranus in Virgo

    ♍︎ 10° Virgo 04' · ninth house

    freedom, generational

Shared by everyone born in this span, this placement marks a generation that transforms work and health through new methods and new technology. Personally, it can show up as an instinct to question inherited routines around productivity and wellbeing.

Brad is drawn to unconventional beliefs, unusual places and ideas that genuinely challenge the mainstream view of how things work. A single fixed philosophy rarely holds their interest for long, and they would rather keep updating their worldview than settle it once and for all.

  9. ♆︎Neptune in Scorpio

    ♏︎ 16° Scorpio 47' · eleventh house

    imagination, generational

Shared across this generation, this placement marks people whose collective imagination is drawn to the hidden, the taboo and the transformative, often through a wider cultural fascination with secrets and endings. Personally, it can show up as being pulled toward mystery for its own sake.

Brad is drawn to friendships and causes with an idealistic edge, and they may hold a vision for their community that reaches well beyond the merely practical. Disappointment can follow when a group falls short of that vision, even when their effort was genuinely sincere.

  10. ♇︎Pluto in Virgo

    ♍︎ 14° Virgo 13' · ninth house

    power, generational

Shared across this generational span, this placement marks people who live through deep transformation of work, health systems and daily life itself. Personally, it can show up as intensity around control, order and what a body or a system can actually handle.

Their beliefs may have gone through a real transformation at some point in their life, with an old worldview eventually giving way to one they personally tested and rebuilt. They do not take a philosophy on faith easily, and they tend to question it thoroughly first.

Aspects

How the planets in Brad Pitt's chart talk to each other, tightest first.

  1. Mars trine Uranus

    0.0° applying

Their drive and their originality flow together easily, giving they fast, inventive action when a situation calls for something different. Bold moves tend to work out for they, more often than the risk involved would seem to justify.

  2. Mars square Jupiter

    0.2° separating

Their drive can outrun their actual resources, leading to overextending on a project or a promise made in a burst of confidence. The lesson is matching real enthusiasm to a pace they can actually sustain.

  3. Moon conjunction Venus

    0.6° applying

Their emotional needs and their capacity for affection are fused, so they love the way they feel, warmly and without much filter. This makes they a genuinely tender presence, and the edge is noticing when Brad is keeping the peace out of habit rather than real desire.

  4. Mercury sextile Neptune

    0.7° applying

Their thinking and their imagination cooperate gently, giving they easy access to creative and intuitive ideas. This is soft, pleasant inventiveness rather than hard analysis, useful for softening a difficult conversation without losing the point of it.
