Aquarius horoscope 2027: Jupiter enters your eighth house

The year 2027

Aquarius, the shape of 2027 is set by two slow planets: Jupiter, which grows partnership and the people you deal with one to one until 26 July and then intimacy, trust and what you share with others, and Saturn, which asks for patience with conversations, errands, siblings and neighbours all year.

Jupiter in your seventh house, then your eighth from 26 July

With Jupiter in your seventh house until 26 July, partnership and the people you deal with one to one is where the year wants to grow. Generosity suits it; so does a little judgment about what is worth growing. From 26 July Jupiter moves into your eighth house, and about a year of growth begins in intimacy, trust and what you share with others; what you share and what you keep is the place to start. Until 12 April Jupiter is still retrograde: finish what last year started around a one-to-one conversation before taking on more.

Saturn and the slow planets

  • Saturn in your third house all year

Saturn in your third house all year asks for patience with conversations, errands, siblings and neighbours; what is built properly there lasts. Saturn is retrograde from 9 August to 23 December. What you have built around a message you have been meaning to send gets a slow, honest inspection.

  • Uranus in your fifth house

Uranus in your fifth house keeps romance, play and what you make for the joy of it restless; try the new way before you dismiss it. Until 8 February Uranus is still retrograde: finish what last year started around a hobby you dropped before taking on more. Uranus turns retrograde on 15 September and stays so into the new year. Changes around time given to play happen inside you before they show.

  • Neptune in your third house

This year Neptune blurs your third house, which is lovely for dreaming about the week's run of errands and poor for deciding about it. Neptune is retrograde from 9 July to 15 December. The fog over conversations, errands, siblings and neighbours lifts a little for five months.

  • Pluto in your first house

Pluto in your first house slowly changes how you come across and what you want for yourself at the root. From 8 May to 17 October Pluto is retrograde. Old patterns around how you carry yourself into a room surface so they can change.

Eclipses in 2027

There are five eclipses in 2027. For Aquarius they land in your first, seventh, eighth and twelfth houses, and each is a lunation that tends to leave a mark.

  • 6 February: Annular solar eclipse in your first house

The New Moon of 6 February is an annular solar eclipse in your first house. Astrologers read eclipses as turning points, and this one turns how you come across and what you want for yourself.

  • 20 February: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your eighth house

The Full Moon of 20 February is a penumbral lunar eclipse in your eighth house. What it shows you about a secret you are keeping is worth more than a usual month's clarity.

  • 18 July: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your twelfth house

The Full Moon of 18 July is a penumbral lunar eclipse in your twelfth house. What it shows you about a quiet kindness nobody sees is worth more than a usual month's clarity.

  • 2 August: Total solar eclipse in your seventh house

On 2 August a total solar eclipse falls in your seventh house, a New Moon with extra weight: a beginning around the person closest to you that tends to stick.

  • 17 August: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your first house

Mark 17 August: a penumbral lunar eclipse in your first house, and nothing about how you come across and what you want for yourself is easy to ignore that week. Let what you see settle before acting.

Retrogrades in 2027

  • Mars retrograde, 10 January to 1 April, in your eighth and seventh houses

Mars is retrograde from 10 January to 1 April, slipping from your eighth house back into your seventh, so partnership and the people you deal with one to one gets a second look as well as intimacy, trust and what you share with others. Push less and plan more around trust between you and someone close for the next ten weeks.

  • Mercury retrograde, 9 February to 3 March, in your second and first houses

Mercury is retrograde from 9 February to 3 March, slipping from your second house back into your first, so how you come across and what you want for yourself gets a second look as well as what you value and what you own. Re-read, re-check and say it twice around the time you give to what matters to you for the next three weeks.

  • Mercury retrograde, 10 June to 4 July, in your sixth and fifth houses

From 10 June to 4 July Mercury moves backwards, starting in your sixth house and ending in your fifth: first daily work, routines and the to-do list, then romance, play and what you make for the joy of it, come up for review. Second thoughts about a colleague you work alongside are worth listening to.

  • Mercury retrograde, 7 October to 28 October, in your tenth and ninth houses

Between 7 October and 28 October Mercury is retrograde, crossing from your tenth house into your ninth. Plans about your work in the world and what you are known for go back for review; the delays are where the fixes are.
