Virgo horoscope 2027: Jupiter enters your first house

The year 2027

Virgo, 2027 begins with Jupiter in your twelfth house, rest, solitude and what runs under the surface, and Saturn in your eighth, intimacy, trust and what you share with others. On 26 July Jupiter moves on to your first house, and the second part of the year widens how you come across and what you want for yourself.

Jupiter in your twelfth house, then your first from 26 July

Jupiter in your twelfth house until 26 July asks you to think bigger about rest, solitude and what runs under the surface. Say yes to the larger version of the part of you that needs a day off, with one foot on the ground. Jupiter enters your first house on 26 July, and the theme shifts to how you come across and what you want for yourself. What you begin there now has room to grow for a year. Jupiter is retrograde until 12 April, so the first weeks of the year keep rest, solitude and what runs under the surface in review; after that, it moves forward.

Saturn and the slow planets

Saturn in your eighth house all year
Saturn in your eighth house all year asks for patience with intimacy, trust and what you share with others; what is built properly there lasts. Between 9 August and 23 December Saturn moves backwards. What you have built around an old hurt you would rather not look at gets a slow, honest inspection.
Uranus in your tenth house
With Uranus in your tenth house, someone whose opinion of your work matters will not stay the same for long. Uranus stays retrograde until 8 February. Treat your work in the world and what you are known for as a review until then, and as new ground afterwards. From 15 September Uranus is retrograde, through the end of the year. The urge to change your work in the world and what you are known for turns inward for five months.
Neptune in your eighth house
This year Neptune blurs your eighth house, which is lovely for dreaming about a bond that is changing and poor for deciding about it. From 9 July to 15 December Neptune is retrograde. The fog over intimacy, trust and what you share with others lifts a little for five months.
Pluto in your sixth house
This year Pluto works quietly in your sixth house; what changes around the routine that holds your days together changes for good. Between 8 May and 17 October Pluto moves backwards. What was buried in daily work, routines and the to-do list comes up for review.

Eclipses in 2027

There are five eclipses in 2027. For Virgo they land in your first, fifth, sixth and twelfth houses, and each is a lunation that tends to leave a mark.

6 February: Annular solar eclipse in your sixth house
Mark 6 February: an annular solar eclipse in your sixth house. Something begins around a task you have put off because it is dull, and what begins at an eclipse tends to stay begun.
20 February: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your first house
The Full Moon of 20 February is a penumbral lunar eclipse in your first house. What it shows you about the first impression you make is worth more than a usual month's clarity.
18 July: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your fifth house
On 18 July a penumbral lunar eclipse lights your fifth house, a Full Moon that brings romance, play and what you make for the joy of it to a head; see time given to play whole before you decide anything.
2 August: Total solar eclipse in your twelfth house
Mark 2 August: a total solar eclipse in your twelfth house. Something begins around a quiet kindness nobody sees, and what begins at an eclipse tends to stay begun.
17 August: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your sixth house
Mark 17 August: a penumbral lunar eclipse in your sixth house, and nothing about daily work, routines and the to-do list is easy to ignore that week. Let what you see settle before acting.

Retrogrades in 2027

Mars retrograde, 10 January to 1 April, in your first and twelfth houses
Between 10 January and 1 April Mars is retrograde, crossing from your first house into your twelfth. Push less and plan more around how you carry yourself into a room for the next ten weeks.
Mercury retrograde, 9 February to 3 March, in your seventh and sixth houses
Between 9 February and 3 March Mercury is retrograde, crossing from your seventh house into your sixth. Plans about partnership and the people you deal with one to one go back for review; the delays are where the fixes are.
Mercury retrograde, 10 June to 4 July, in your eleventh and tenth houses
From 10 June to 4 July Mercury moves backwards, starting in your eleventh house and ending in your tenth: first friends, groups and plans for the future, then your work in the world and what you are known for, come up for review. Second thoughts about the circle that shares your interests are worth listening to.
Mercury retrograde, 7 October to 28 October, in your third and second houses
From 7 October to 28 October Mercury moves backwards, starting in your third house and ending in your second: first conversations, errands, siblings and neighbours, then what you value and what you own, come up for review. Second thoughts about the way you word things are worth listening to.
