Cancer horoscope 2027: Jupiter enters your third house

The year 2027

Cancer, the shape of 2027 is set by two slow planets: Jupiter, which grows what you value and what you own until 26 July and then conversations, errands, siblings and neighbours, and Saturn, which asks for patience with your work in the world and what you are known for all year.

Jupiter in your second house, then your third from 26 July

Jupiter in your second house until 26 July asks you to think bigger about what you value and what you own. Say yes to the larger version of what you truly value, with one foot on the ground. On 26 July Jupiter crosses into your third house. For the rest of the year, and most of the next, the bigger version of the week's run of errands is on offer. Until 12 April Jupiter is still retrograde: finish what last year started around what you truly value before taking on more.

Saturn and the slow planets

Saturn in your tenth house all year
Saturn in your tenth house all year asks for patience with your work in the world and what you are known for; what is built properly there lasts. From 9 August to 23 December Saturn is retrograde. What you have built around the next step in what you are building gets a slow, honest inspection.
Uranus in your twelfth house
This year Uranus unsettles your twelfth house, so leave room in rest, solitude and what runs under the surface for a surprise. Until 8 February Uranus is still retrograde: finish what last year started around a proper rest before taking on more. From 15 September Uranus is retrograde, through the end of the year. The urge to change rest, solitude and what runs under the surface turns inward for five months.
Neptune in your tenth house
Neptune in your tenth house softens your work in the world and what you are known for; imagination is easy there, precision is not. Neptune is retrograde from 9 July to 15 December. It is five months for seeing your work in the world and what you are known for as it is.
Pluto in your eighth house
With Pluto in your eighth house, what you share and what you keep is where you feel things most deeply. Pluto is retrograde from 8 May to 17 October. Old patterns around trust between you and someone close surface so they can change.

Eclipses in 2027

Cancer, five eclipses fall in 2027, touching your second, third, seventh and eighth houses. Treat each as a New or Full Moon with the volume turned up.

6 February: Annular solar eclipse in your eighth house
On 6 February an annular solar eclipse falls in your eighth house, a New Moon with extra weight: a beginning around an old hurt you would rather not look at that tends to stick.
20 February: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your third house
On 20 February a penumbral lunar eclipse lights your third house, a Full Moon that brings conversations, errands, siblings and neighbours to a head; see the week's run of errands whole before you decide anything.
18 July: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your seventh house
Mark 18 July: a penumbral lunar eclipse in your seventh house, and nothing about partnership and the people you deal with one to one is easy to ignore that week. Let what you see settle before acting.
2 August: Total solar eclipse in your second house
The New Moon of 2 August is a total solar eclipse in your second house. Astrologers read eclipses as turning points, and this one turns what you value and what you own.
17 August: Penumbral lunar eclipse in your eighth house
Mark 17 August: a penumbral lunar eclipse in your eighth house, and nothing about intimacy, trust and what you share with others is easy to ignore that week. Let what you see settle before acting.
