Horoscope
Cancer horoscope this week
Week of 19 October 2026
Cancer, this week the Sun is in your fourth house, home, family and where you feel safe, and the Moon travels through your eighth, ninth and tenth houses.
Venus square Pluto, across your fifth and eighth houses
Venus in your fifth house squares Pluto in your eighth this week, so romance, play and what you make for the joy of it and intimacy, trust and what you share with others compete for you. Friction here is information, not failure.
This week's changes
Friday: The Sun enters your fifth house
On Friday the Sun moves into your fifth house, romance, play and what you make for the joy of it, and your attention settles there for a month, until 22 November.
Saturday: Mercury turns retrograde in your fifth house
On Saturday Mercury turns retrograde in your fifth house. Second thoughts about something you make for the pleasure of it are worth listening to.
Sunday: Venus backs into your fourth house
On Sunday Venus, retrograde, backs into your fourth house for a second look at home, family and where you feel safe before it moves on.
Where the planets are for you
Mercury in your fifth house
This week Mercury brings messages and plans to your fifth house. Write things down, especially about an evening with nothing useful in it.
Venus in your fifth house, retrograde
Venus in your fifth house makes romance, play and what you make for the joy of it the easy, pleasant part of life this week; a date you would like to go on is worth your time. Venus is retrograde, so treat romance, play and what you make for the joy of it as a review rather than new ground.
Mars in your second house
Mars pushes energy into your second house this week: good for starting things around a thing you own and actually use, less good for patience.
Jupiter in your second house
This week Jupiter widens your second house, what you value and what you own, and generosity suits it.

Computed from the real positions of the planets by the solar-chart method: your Sun sign is read as the first house and every planet by the house it falls in. Dates follow your own calendar day; without JavaScript they follow New York. For entertainment and self-reflection; not a prediction of health, money or legal outcomes.
